WFAA Good morning Texas!!!

Friday's performance for WFAA's Good Morning Texas..... We have been asked  by the Superintendent  and Mayor to be there as representatives of Mansfield, as the show highlights the town of Mansfield. This is going to be a great experience for our kids, and an opportunity that most bands don't get.
Here is the info I know as of now:
1. We will need everyone to meet at the MHS bandhall at 4:00AM
2. We will be wearing our 2011 Tiger Trek shirts (they should be ready to be picked up on Wed)
3. We will back at MHS by 8:00AM (the rest of day is open.... no rehearsals)

Terry Moore 1st VP of Opportunity

Hey Tiger Band Fans,

We've conducted extensive testing and have perfected the art of pickle frying. Best Maid Pickles that is. So, make plans ot come on out to the Mansfield Wurst Home Town Festival this Saturday from 5-11 on Historic Main Street Mansfield. There will be music, vendors, a craft section, and a kids section. The Tiger Band and Boosters will be selling pickles and water on behalf of one of the Festival's Sponsors, Best Maid Pickles. If you didn't know, Best Maid is a Mansfield owned and based business. In fact, Brian Dalton, the President of Best Maid, is a Mansfield Tiger Band Alumnus. From what I have been told he was quite the accomplished musicain.

So, come on out and support Mansfield and the Tiger Band!

Schedule pick up

Students (regardless of gender) you are to do schedule pick-up at 10:40 on your designated day. The counselors are expecting all the band students to go through the registration at that time. (Please make sure you have your proof of residency.)

FishCamp - If any student would actually like to attend the fish camp, they may..... however, they are responsible for learning the material they are missing at that rehearsal. On a personal note, I feel the fishcamp is more informative for the parents, than it is for the students....but that is just my opinion. Mr. Ludlow
